Keeping us in the dark for a long time, Com2US has finally revealed their brand-new baseball RPG game titled as “MLB 9 Innings Rivals”. Expected to launch in early July 2023, the hype for the game has already been created within the niche community that enjoys high-quality baseball simulators on their handheld devices. Pre-registrations are also opened on the game’s official website that offers registrants juicy goodies in the form of 3000 Stars, Impact Packs, and Team Selective Live Packs. MLB 9 Innings Rivals is going to be available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store with in-game microtransactions enabled.

MLB 9 Innings Rivals is expected to deliver a console quality graphical performance and outlook to players on their mobile phones itself. Being developed and published by Com2US, the Korea-based game giant, such claims seem not too far-fetched from reality. In fact, the game is officially licensed and being promoted on different baseball league team’s social media accounts. Some notable examples include the LA Dodgers and their first baseman Freddie Freeman, San Diego Padres and their shortstop Xander Bogaerts. 

One distinctive quality of MLB 9 Innings Rivals is going to be its playability in both landscape and portrait modes. A dual perspective for all types of players, regardless of their choice. This is due to the fact that many players might prefer playing on a landscape when they are in a comfortable place such as their bed or on a desk, but might prefer playing in portrait mode while travelling or simply walking. Apart from its ease of playability, being an officially licensed MLB game has its own set of perks! Players can track the live stats of actual MLB players from different teams in a coveted “Live Mode”.
